Starting Monday, February 14th, clients will have two options for appointment visits: Curbside or “Purr” side. If you are here at the hospital to pick up food or prescriptions or to drop off your cat for surgery or for procedures, we would ask that these visits remain as curbside for now.

1. To begin, all clients should call the clinic from the parking lot to check-in, upon arrival.

2. To minimize the number of people in the clinic at one time, anyone picking up food or medication will continue to be curbside service only. Once you call the clinic, we will bring your requested items to the car for you.

3. Curbside service will be available for the following services and the clients will remain in their car:

  • Wellness appointments
  • Sick appointments
  • All technician appointments
  • Surgical or procedure drop offs
  • Boarding drop offs and pick ups
  • In-patient pick ups

4. “Purr” side service will be available for the following services only and clients will be able to accompany their cat inside to the appointment once their exam room is ready:

  • Wellness appointments
  • Sick appointments
  • Recheck appointments

Staff will come outside for the “purr” side clients to escort clients from the parking lot directly to the exam room with their cat(s). At the end of the appointment, “purr” side clients will be checked out in the exam room rather than the lobby. At this time, only one client will be allowed inside with their cat(s) for any appointments other than euthanasia.

5. Regardless of vaccination status, masks will be required for all staff and clients inside the hospital, at ALL times. This policy is in consideration of staff members and others who are not able to be vaccinated due to immune-mediated diseases, especially since maintaining social distances in our exam rooms is not physically possible. Masks will be required to be worn covering the nose and the mouth at all times in order to stay in the hospital with your cat.

Thank you again for your patience and empathy during the past year and going forward. The health, safety, and compassionate care of everyone in the Morrisville Cat Hospital community remains our top priority.
